I found this completely work-inappropriate web site (hint hint if you're at work) of clips from movies, with an entire page dedicated to The Long Kiss Goodnight, my absolute favorite non-Tarantino action movie of all time. You should visit it at once.

I have been quoting that wrong for years, unless it differs form show to movie version. I've been saying, (all the damned time to anyone around me) "Let's slip away under the cover of daylight..." Sometimes I say escape instead of slip away, but whatever. The cover of daylight always bugged me just a little bit, but I don't let those things stop me.
