Not that I didn't appreciate before that I'm a product of the 1980s, but I read the headline "NC prosecutor: Nelson band member charges pending" and thought several things in rapid succession:
- Oh my God! Nelson is still together?
- Wait. No, didn't one of them start a country group and the other was on Celebrity Fit Club?
- What time am I supposed to meet my sister at the movies?
- Wait. Weren't they born again Christians? What could Nelson have possibly been arrested for?
Anyway, three of those four thoughts (you choose which) were enough to make me click the link. Turns out that, and not surprisingly, this is a story about Willie Nelson and pot. Oh...yeah, that makes more sense. Still, it warrants a picture of Nelson. And maybe one of Warrant (because wasn't Jani Lane also on Celebrity Fit Club? With the kind of crap I watch, is it any surprise that I've given up television?)
